Your rental is protected with our Premium Insurance! In the event of damage or theft to the car, you are not required to pay any excess as long as the use of the car is according to terms & conditions below. At rental pick-up no credit card deposit is required and you will not be asked to pay extra for additional insurances.
Collision damage waiver (CDW) The renter is insured for the rental vehicle damaged by accident with no obligation to pay any excess.
Full collision damage waiver / Premium Insurance (FDW & WUG) The renter is insured for damages caused to the underside of the vehicle, glass, tires and engine with no obligation to pay any excess. It may also be referred as Super Collision damage waiver (SCDW) or Full collision damage waiver (FCDW) or Wheels under side and glass insurance (WUG).
Theft Protection The renter is insured in case the vehicle is stolen, except if theft occurs because of negligence. Any stolen belongings in the interior of the car (eg. cameras, travel bags or cell-phones) are not covered by any insurance.
Public Liability Insurance (PL) The renter’s liability is covered to a maximum of €1.000.000 for death and bodily injuries and €1.000.000 for material damages. May also referred as PLI.
Personal accident insurance (PAI) Passengers of the rental vehicle are insured for death or bodily injuries in case of accident to a maximum of €1.000.000. Driver is insured to the amount of €15.000.
Age
The drivers must be a minimum of 21 years of age for car categories A,B,
23 for C,C1,D,D1,K,K1,K2 and
25 for the rest.
• Please note that we do not check the age of the driver when we receive a booking. If you do not meet the age requirements at the rental counter, you will not be able to pick up the car and you will be asked to pay for the full amount of the rental fee.
• There is not any young or senior driver fee.
• The maximum rental age is 79 years.
Driver's License Drivers must hold a valid license for at least one (1) year. National Driving Licenses issued in EU, US, UK, Switzerland, Australia, Canada, Israel, Russia,Ukraine are accepted. An International Driving License is required in all other cases.
Traffic Violations, Traffic fines and Administrative Sanctions Tickets and appended administrative sanctions resulting from any violation of the Greek Traffic law during rental period, is solely the renter's responsibility. If any such administrative sanction is not disclosed to the company at the end of the rental period (contract), the violation will be charged to the renter.
Mileage Unlimited mileage is included in our rates.
Taxes V.A.T (Value Added Tax) 24% is included in our rates
Additional Drivers One (1) additional driver can be registered without any additional charge. Maximum three (3) drivers including the main driver are allowed per rental. The cost is 3 EUR/day per driver.
Roadside Assistance
Roadside Assistance is free of charge and available 24/7. Our Roadside assistance partner is Interamerican Assistance. Telephone: 1158 from Greece and +30 210 9461333 when calling from International mobile phones.
It is recommended to contact our office directly in the event of required roadside assistance. During out of office hours, all direct calls to our office are diverted to our emergency mobile phone line.
Selection of particular car brand or model Bookings are subject to a specific car group, which usually includes several different car models with similar features. You can ask for a specific model after your booking is confirmed. We will add your model preference to your booking and we will deliver the requested model if it is available the day of your arrival. Please note that you must be prepared to collect any of the advertised vehicles within a category. In case you have a confirmed reservation for a specific car group and there is not any available car from this category, we reserve the right to deliver a vehicle of bigger category with no extra charge.
Car Replacement In case of the unfortunate event of an accident/breakdown resulting in the immobilisation of the vehicle, your car will be replaced with another one within 24 hours from the time the accident/breakdown has been reported. Our company has the right to investigate the causes of the accident/breakdown and deny the replacement of the car if the use of the car was against terms & conditions.
Infant Seat, Baby Seat and Booster Seat We offer 3 different types of child seats (Infant seat, Baby seat, Booster seat). One piece is offered Free of Charge. Each extra costs 2 € /day, payable on arrival.
No additional charges on flight delays All our employees are always informed for your arrival time, as well as last minute flight schedule changes that might occur. They will wait for your arrival flight in order to deliver you the booked vehicle.
Modern and safe vehicles We are able to guarantee that you will be delivered a safe, well maintained and well serviced vehicle.
Cleaning, service, engine check and prompt attention Our well-trained staff, both engineers and front-desk personnel, have checked the vehicle to be delivered in perfect condition.
Road Map, GPS Sat Nav Upon delivery, you will get a recent map of Crete island free of charge. We can offer you a GPS Sat nav device (4.3" screen) with the most recent map of Greece, with latin character map, available in 17 languages. The cost is €5 per day. Advanced booking is required and minimum cost per rental is €30. The customer is liable for misplacing or damaging the GPS unit/mount to a maximum charge of €100.
Fuel Policy
Option 1: Return as Collected
The renter has to return the vehicle with the same level of petrol as delivered. Vehicles delivered during the night (out of office hours), have at least half tank of petrol filled. This will be enough to drive you anywhere in the island. In addition our representative will be willing to guide you to the nearest petrol station.
Option 2: Collect Full & Return Empty
The client has to pay locally for the initial tank of fuel. The car should then be returned with the tank as empty as possible, since there is no refund for unused fuel.
Key Loss The customer is liable for all costs to replace keys which have been lost or damaged, the cost of retrieval of keys which have been locked inside a vehicle.
Tyres Damages Non-repairable/burst tyres are not covered by the insurance. If the tyre is repairable the customer may repair it and the company is obliged to refund any costs.
Booking Cancellation
Once your booking is confirmed, you can cancel your reservation on “My Booking” page by entering the renter’s e-mail address and the confirmation number. The confirmation number is provided to you at the completion of your online reservation. This number is an 8-digit code initiated by three letters, totaling 11 alphanumeric characters (eg. JRT12345678).
Tip: Make sure you enter the information without leaving any empty spaces before or after the required fields. If you don't have that information readily accessible, simply contact us.
Cancellation Policy Our cancellation policies vary, depending on the type of reservation you've made:
Cancel more than 48 hours prior to pick up time
If you choose to cancel a partially prepaid reservation 48 hours prior to the rental pick up time, we will refund the deposit paid for the booking amount. Once cancelled, we will credit you within approximately 5 business days. Credits will be applied to the same card with which you prepaid.
Cancel within 48 hours prior to pick up time
If you cancel less than 48 hours before your pick-up time the deposit will not be refunded.
No show
If you do not cancel the reservation prior to the time of pick-up and the rental vehicle is not picked up on the rental date, the deposit will not be refunded.
Cancel more than 48 hours prior to pick up time
If you choose to cancel a fully prepaid reservation 48 hours prior to the rental pick up time, we will fully refund the prepaid amount. Once cancelled, we will credit you within approximately 5 business days. Credits will be applied to the same card with which you prepaid.
Cancel within 48 hours prior to pick up time
If you cancel less than 48 hours before your pick-up time 50% of the prepaid amount will be refunded.
No show
If you do not cancel the reservation prior to the time of pick-up and the rental vehicle is not picked up on the rental date, no portion of the prepaid amount will be refunded.
Delivery & Collection of vehicles
We can deliver/collect vehicles from all supported locations in our booking engine, including airports, ports and selected hotels. For places not included in our booking engine you may contact us in advance.
After-hours deliveries (22:00 - 07:00) are subject to a €20 charge payable on arrival. Returning the vehicle after-hours is free of charge.

Ferrying the vehicle & Across the border rentals Ferrying the car to and from any island or mainland is not allowed. All insurances will be voided and the renter will be responsible for any damage caused if the vehicle is driven elsewhere than Crete Island.
One Way Rentals All cars available for one way rentals, provided that such arrangement is made at the commencement of the rental and confirmed on the rental agreement.
Grace Period in Cancellation Policy & Administration Fee
• If you choose to cancel your booking before your reservation is confirmed, then we will refund the prepaid amount.
• If you choose to cancel your booking within 2 hours from the time your booking is confirmed and the rental start date is in less than 48 hours then we will refund the prepayment amount less a EUR30 administration fee.
Once you make a booking, we will send your confirmation voucher with the details of the booking. It is mandatory to review the data of your reservation (eg. car category, gearbox (manual / automatic), characteristics). At the rental counter it is not possible to cancel a booking if all conditions of the rental voucher are met. The booking will be considered as a no-show.
Amend a Booking
You can request for a change to your reservation using “My Booking” page at any time, even multiple times, with no fee. Your request for a change will be processed and we will confirm if the requested change is possible within 12 hours.
If the requested change affects the total rate of the rental, the prepayment amount will not change.
Underpayments will be calculated on booking confirmation and will be handled at the counter at time of rental pick-up. Any overpayments will be refunded when the change is confirmed.
Car rental rates may change and prices tend to be higher as the date of the amendment is closer to the rental start date. We promise that the rate you reserve is the rate you’ll pay – but we can't promise that the rate you reserve today will apply if you lengthen, shorten or change your rental period.
If you revise your rental period, the daily rate might change. Especially if the total rental period becomes shorter than a week. In general, the longer the rental period, the lower your per-day rate is.
If you have already picked up your vehicle and wish to keep it longer, you must contact our company and check if the car is available. We have the right to deny the extension of the rental agreement if the car is already booked.
If you decide to return the car earlier that the rental end stated at the rental agreement, we do not give any refund for unused days.
Rental Extension If you have already picked up your vehicle and wish to keep it longer, you must contact our company and check if the car is available. We have the right to deny the extension of the rental if the car is already booked. If extension is possible, there is a Grace Period of one (1) hour (i.e first hour delay in return is not charged) provided that our company is notified and has given permission. Next 3 hours are charged at €10 per hour. Over 3 hours delay, one day rate will be charged. Please note that a customer is not allowed to bring the car later than the agreed return time without having taken permission (having extended the rental) from our company since there is not any insurance coverage after the return time of the car.
Accident In case of an accident, the renter must contact our company immediately via our 24/7 helpline in order to receive instructions on how to handle the situation. You are not allowed to leave the incident place without reporting the accident. If you cannot contact our company, you should contact directly the police. If the renter fails to provide the report to our company then he is obliged to pay for repairing costs of any damage caused to the rental vehicle. If the driver or one of the passengers is injured you should also inform police/ambulance. If by any chance the other involved party leaves the accident place, take a photo or write down the plate number. We will also call our insurance partner for an accident report. It is prohibited to drive under alcohol influence and disobey traffic rules.
All insurance coverings & waivers are valid provided that the renter has complied with all terms & conditions. The renter is obliged to inspect the vehicle and report any damage to our office or police, as soon as possible without moving the car, in order to provide all information and photos necessary for the submission of the incident’s full description. If the renter fails to report the damage within two (2) hours, then he admits responsibility and is obliged to compensate the company for repairing costs. No accident/damage report is accepted on the return of the car without prior notification. The company is entitled to claim compensation from the renter up to the repairing cost of the damage as below: For damages caused when the vehicle is operated on any unauthorised road, non-asphalt road, dirt road or off-road (eg. Balos), either intentionally or unintentionally (rented vehicle ran off the road). For damages caused when the renter violates traffic rules (eg. road/STOP signs, speed limits, road direction, U-turns, illegal overpassing, double line overpassing). For damages caused when the renter is distracted, misjudges his course and goes out of the road. For damages caused when the renter violates parking rules. For damages caused when the vehicle is operated in any race, speed test, rally or contest or the vehicle is used for the purpose of reward (taxi or courier service). For damages caused when the vehicle is driven by any person disqualified from holding or has never held a driver’s licence appropriate for that vehicle or is not a registered driver in the rental agreement. For damages caused when the driver of the vehicle is under alcohol or drug influence that affects his ability to drive the vehicle. For damages caused when the vehicle is wilfully or recklessly used by the renter (eg damages caused to doors/body of the car by the wind, damages to clutch/gearbox, damages to the vehicle interior, damages caused by animals, damages caused by sitting/standing on the bonnet/boot/roof of the vehicle).
